My love for teaching was first inspired by my primary school teachers.  Through their dedication and passion, my own desire for teaching grew.  I remember spending hours playing teachers and taking the pretend class register as a child, which I still recall as I take the register in class daily.  

My teaching journey started when I graduated from university with a First-Class Honours BA Learning and Teaching degree. I am a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging and adaptive to the varied needs of all pupils. 

I recently joined Freshwaters in September 2021 as a year 1 teacher for Elmer class and have enjoyed every moment of it! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three teenage sons, creating memorable family experiences together!  

My hobbies are playing the guitar and badminton.
